Most of these were posited by our beloved DM as points to ponder.

  1. The Abbott How is the Abbott communicating from “beyond the grave”, or is he not really dead?
  • Runic messages written in charcoal, found at the debtree, in the tower north of the bear village.

  • Believed to be The Foundling / The Boy With No Name from Foamflower

  • Said to have “left the city to go keep a watch”.

    1. The Sun King Why would someone sent by the Sun King react negatively to Silas specifically?

Who is this guy? Just a man, or a god? What the hell does he want?

  1. The Three Women Who are the three women?  How does the turtle fit into this?  What were Krambler’s roots reaching for? (That’s a big hint.)
  • Krambler’s roots: In the space in the center is a pile of ancient boulders emanating power. One of your roots almost touches the boulders, reaching out through the darkness. When I wrap my roots around the boulders they start moving around, and thrashing and the ceiling begins to collapse…room is erupting with more and more chaos…
  • Weyland references the Stone King, or the King of the Stone Giants:> *So one day, he walked into the mountains above the village where the wolves lived, but it was summer, and the woods were full of deer, and he went by secret paths by a stream hidden deep in the stones of the mountain. He walked until he came to a great cave, carved with huge pillars, and inside lived the King of the Stone Giants.  He said to the King: “King of Stone…*Named: Stone Storm and Sea,
  • Remarked on Krambler’s hammer as one of the “great hammers”
    • Hammer was a stone smoothed round by the storms of the sea
    1. The Chess Board

Who are the players? We’ve seen 4 colors of pieces, right?

Whom do the pieces represent?

  • Black Rook - Cricket

  • Image: Chess 1.png Black Knight - Storr

  • Black Bishop - Mannix

  • White Knight - Balthazar

  • White Bishop - Silas

  • White Rook - Krambler

  • Crimson - The Ancient Evil Trapped Under the Mountain

  • Image: ChessBoard Post Wind Monster Fight.png

  • Yellow - The Sun King = Mons

  • Black - Mabmnoss, Bryok?! - The death side of the circle

  • White - The 3 Women, The Bear, Stone Turtle, ?The Stone King?

  • ^^Really I think White is the spirit of the earth itself. Gaia, if you will. The Cradle of life side of the circle.

  1. Misc. It took mankind to make bronze. Perhaps bronze is an unnatural material.

Crickett and Mannix were well named as the “Raven Bros”.

Silas keeps having visions of a ancient, slumbering bear.

Krambler would feel closer and more akin to the three women at the well, than he would with this raven woman.

Balthazar would feel a bit unnerved by them because of a certain kinship.  He would feel close to the turtle.
