A Monastery on a mountain four days march from Monsoth. It is composed of several buildings built on a high meadow. There are gardens and terraces both natural and manmade. Above the monastery, the tree line ends abruptly into a clearing. The temple itself has a huge stone floor and wooden posts with exquisite detail. The room has an open view to the east, out of which one can see the ocean with something below the horizon. The mountain’s name is Men Myghtern.
The town of Kel is located in the valley. It is a village that grew up in response to travel to the monastery and supplies food, etc.. to Tawesek.
The party arrives to find the Abbott Bryok in charge. After the Abbott’s death Tewlder is in charge.
Below the mountain there is a cave system.
- Summary of events in Tawesek Tewlder’s wife was pregnant and gave birth to a child. A few days after the birth, the earthquake that trapped us in the cave occurred. During the earthquake, the newborn went missing in the aftermath of the earthquake. Tewlder’s wife, weak from giving birth, was killed in the collapse of their house. Tewlder’s brother Musk went missing during the earthquake. The child survived the quake but disappeared that night. The Abbott then got news from a scout that the town had appeared. We arrived at Kel at the end of the next day. The child went missing the night we stayed in Kel. We met the Abbott the next morning and left with the Abbott the day after that. The Abbott showed affection for Tewlder’s wife (“my child”, “my daughter”) but not necessarily blood related, a daughter in spirit (Dama told us this).
